Welcome to the kitchen of the
Glacier Bay Country Inn!
One of the most memorable things on any vacation is the cuisine, and we work very hard to make sure that this will be a vacation that you never forget. Our breads and pastries are baked fresh every day so that they arrive at your table still warm from the oven. We are also fortunate to be surrounded by some of the best fishing in all of Alaska so you can expect to see plenty of salmon, halibut, and Dungeness crab on our nightly menu. If you have a bit of a sweet tooth then you can look forward to our homemade cheesecakes, fudges, and crème brûlées. My career has taken me all over the world and allowed me to cook in some pretty amazing places, but once you are here I think you'll agree that the Glacier Bay Country Inn is the best place to find gourmet cuisine in remote Alaska.
